We're so excited to announce our "sister" business OneEighty Petals: Cut Flowers & Design Your Own Bouquets is officially open! 🌼🌻🥀 As we continue to work to have a pottery studio/gallery space on the property, our self-serve roadside flower stand is now open with a variety of fresh cut bouquets. Stop by and see us on the corner of Hwy A and S Highland Rd in Fish Creek, just south of the Greenwood Supper Club!

Some creatures hibernate during the winter. Not small business owners! We're using the time to plan, to learn, and to create. A great big thank you to our local SBDC for helping us with the next steps to make those plans reality! We're excited for the 2017 season and hope you are, too!

It's ! We're working on a few new pieces and unloading the kiln after a bisque firing. Can't wait to glaze these latest works!

Icy weather outside made today a good day to stay indoors and make some mugs.

Did you know when we aren't in the studio you'll likely find us tending to our honeybees? That's right! We are beekeepers, too! (It's pretty convenient when sipping tea out of my favorite OneEighty mug. ;-) ) Our bees had a busy summer and now we're using the harvest to pay it forward!

This holiday season, for every 10 16-oz. bottles of Sweet Beesus Honey sold between Dec. 1-31, we will donate a gift of honeybees to help lift a family out of hunger and poverty. This gift provides a family with honeybees, equipment, plus training on how to process and sell their honey in local markets. Your purchase of Sweet Beesus Honey this holiday season not only means your supporting small business and enjoying some of the purest raw, unprocessed honey around, you'll also be helping families in need change their lives for the better. What a sweet deal for everyone! -------> www.sweetbeeesushoney.com

Did you know we have a blog where you can read about our journey (and discover the meaning behind our studio/gallery's name)? Read it here at www.followthedetour.weebly.com (I promise 2017 will feature more posts. ;-) Who knew building a business and a dream would take so much time away from writing?)

It's a beautiful fall day for some tidying up in the north orchard.
