TAMA is a non-profit, community-based volunteer organization supporting the availability, understanding and appreciation of art through its exclusive support of the Torrance Art Museum. There are many ways the members and those wishing to become members of TAMA can help advance the efforts of the Torrance Art Museum! Helping us spread the word about our group as well as the exhibitions at the mu
seum by word of mouth, posting on social media, volunteering to sit at the desk at the TAM or by advocating for the museum at the City Council meetings are all ways that will help ensure the TAM continues to thrive in the city. Your voice will go a long way in helping us maintain a presence of advocacy of this extraordinary jewel in the City of Torrance. Members of the Board of Directors will appear before the City Council prior to all museum openings to invite the Mayor, Council and general public. TAMA Members are invited to attend to show support for and increase public awareness of the museum. We thank you in advance for your participation in spreading the word about the Torrance Art Museum!
