This piece is a celebration of female solidarity, friendship, and unconditional support. I illustrate the power of the feminine creating Magical Love, when we work together.

"THE YELLING MAN" - 2026

#5 in "The Man" series is finally finished!

The verbally abusive man is shown yelling, as his tongue turns into 2 daggers, piercing a heart. The bleeding heart is being held up by barbed wire. If you look closely at the daggers, you can see the words, "Stupid Bitch".

This piece shows how hurtful words can be, especially misogynistic & disparaging profanity.

"THE AVOIDANT MAN" - 2025

I finally finished #4 in this series, which I call, "The Man". This piece was challenging, but also emotionally difficult to get through. But, every stroke lent to my healing, for which I am thankful.

Let's break it down. You see a bearded man, not able to communicate. He has his saddened heart locked away, as to avoid facing any emotion. Above his head are emotions that haunt & torture him; fear, sadness, love, compassion & anger. All, with which he refuses to sit & be uncomfortable. It's easier to keep silent.

A while back, the owner of this painting sent me this video. She was pleasantly surprised that it was blacklight reactive. LOL

In order to manipulate vibrancy, I mixed fluorescent paints into my regular acrylics. I even wondered if it would still glow even if I mixed them in but never tested it.
Then I get THIS!!! 😁🌟

"JESUS LEGS" - 2023

This is the last painting I will create, from this phase in my life. I am DONE, Finally! As my lovely friend said, "no looking back". In fact, I was having a hard time finishing this piece because my mind and heart are no longer there. That chapter has closed. ✌️♥️🎨🖌️

Let's dissect this...
I decided he had "Jesus Legs", as he had toned legs of a runner. Jesus Legs were what came to mind, since that's what I saw constantly, growing up in an extremist catholic family. Also, his best feature, in my opinion. He may recognize the polka dot boxers. 😆

The pink quartz necklace on his lap was a gift, I once held as something precious.
The heart and the dead love bird is what I ended up with, in the end. Again, here you see the cactus, a self-identifier; a reminder of my Mexican heritage.
The barb wire is the pain the break-up inflicted upon me.

I have healed from this and am ready to move forward to a much happier future. ♥️
