This ~30sec of footage was spliced from another reel, put onto its own spool, and stored in a separate Kodak box that originally contained older B&W film.

There is a moment in time when a person has been dead longer than they were alive—when the grave has occupied the earth longer than the body that once occupied the world. Is there a word or phrase for the moment that threshold is crossed?

For Ella, that moment happened on December 23rd, 2020.

For Bernard, that moment happened on April 5th, 1941.

The woman and the children in the photo are unknown.
