We were pleased to welcome Don Purvis (Class of 1976) to the Utica Institute Museum. Don regaled us with stories of his time on the Utica Campus and how much the mentoring meant to him. He mentioned his favorite Uticanites and faculty. Purvis promised to come back to the museum and to tell his story. We are looking forward to that podcast session.

We were excited to welcome back to the campus Mr. Willie Nutall, a member of the Golden Class of 1976 and a member of the first group of students in Utica’s Radio & TV program. Museum co-director Dan Fuller provided a tour of the campus, focusing on the two programs that grew out of Mr. George McQuitter & Mr. Rick Porter’s work: Entertainment Industry Media Technology under the direction of Mr. Lenelle UncleCed Smith II and Radio & Television Broadcasting led by Ms. Mekiyla Brown. Thank you for sharing your memories of the campus, Mr. Nutall!
