Van Area Oil and Historical Museum

We had a great visit with the teachers, students and parents, from Christian Heritage School in Tyler. They came to the museum for their field trip and then to spend time at the City of Van splash pad and park. It's been a really good day.

Don't forget our " Delayed " Easter Egg Hunt is today - April 11th 10am Bring the kids out and get some eggs.

Last week we got canceled by the weather, but we have decided to go ahead and have our " Annual Easter Egg " hunt on Saturday April 11th. Gather up at 10:00 am and hunt at 10:15. Sorry about the delay but we hope you will bring the kids out for some fun.

The Oil Museum had some guests stop by on January 31st -- ( L to R ) member Ron Brey, Billy Thurber of California, Mark Joy of Oregon, member John Beall, Matthew Joy of Alaska . Had a great visit with these guys.

The Van Oil Museum had some special guests during the Van Oil Festival. Harold and Myra Sides, from Gallatin Tennessee, stopped in for a visit and to share some stories of Van, The Pure Oil Co. and family. We really enjoyed them stopping by.
