In observance of the 250th birthday of the USA we have this cardboard cutout of the first president George Washington and the current president Donald Trump. Connecting the past to the present. There is more of our country's history on display. Visit the museum to discover some fun facts!

We posted recently about some 12 foot long church pews we would like to sale for cheap. No response which is understandable. NOW, would anyone be interested in 4 foot benches made of these pews? We have someone who suggested they could make these of the larger ones. We wanted to ask about any interest before we tell them to make the smaller ones. Please help us free up some space for other displays.

Soroptimists visited the museum yesterday. We love our traveler visitors, but local visitors are even more special! Thank you ladies for taking the tour and sharing smiles! Visit us again because unlike the assumed concept, we DO CHANGE items and displays. Christmas is coming so stay tuned.

The museum will close at 1:30 today so we may attend the History of Pies presentation at the Statehouse. It is a free event. Why not join us there for interesting history and THEN a delicious piece of pie? 5 different kinds of pie.😊
