We celebrated hope and connection with old friends and new at the Harvest of Hope: Charity Art Show & Art Sale Opening Reception yesterday! Thank you for being the spark that made our new Museum Director's official debut a shining success (not just the incredible art on the walls 🎨)! Your presence ignited a sense of community, reminding us that together, we can create something truly beautiful! 🏛🎨🙌🎶❤️

We're finally recovered (mostly) from our epic Inaugural Harvest of Hope: Charity Art Show & Art Sale 🎉 and we've got the pics to prove it! 📸 Shout out to Evan Riekhof, of EZ-E Photography & Graphic Design, for capturing the magic 🎨. Thank you to everyone who came out to mingle with the artists, jam out to The Oaks Baptist Church Ukulele Band's sweet tunes 🎶, ogle the amazing art, score some awesome pieces, and support our local/regional artists & charities, Tommy & Shirley Strickland Cancer Center & Warrior Wigs! 🎉 Oh, and don't forget about that raffle - winners will be notified today and we'll post the list after. It's finally here! Ukulele Band at 1pm - don't worry, they won't make you cry (unless you're allergic to awesome tunes)! Art Show at 1:30pm - come for the free food, stay for the art (or vice versa, we won't judge)! And, oh yeah, there's a raffle too! 🎉 Get ready for an art attack: Anime, Painting, Hand Blown Glass Wall Installation, Wood Art, Fiber Arts, Miniature Sculpture, Watercolor/Pen & Ink, Collage, Abstract Painting, Mixed Media, Photography... and a whole lot of amazingness! 🎶🎨🙌🏛👀

This Sunday, we’re hosting the Inaugural Harvest of Hope: Charity Art Show & Sale to benefit the Tommy & Shirley Strickland Cancer Center & Warrior Wigs & and local/regional artists!
We’ve got artists displaying nearly every medium under the sun, completely Free entry, and a totally casual atmosphere. 🎨Every single art purchase helps cancer patients and artists! Every raffle ticket purchase goes to help cancer patients!
Here is how the afternoon looks:
• 1:00 PM: Live tunes from The Oaks Baptist Church Ukulele Band on the back porch
• 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM: Opening Reception officially begins (including refreshments)! Meet the artists & explore the collection. Raffle to be held during reception. Raffle items are all donated original pieces by artists in this show! Tickets available now or at beginning of opening reception!🎫
The Logistics:
• The Vibe: Show up in your favorite jeans or church clothes, it's up to you!
• Where: Altama Museum, 611 Jackson St, Vidalia
• When: This Sunday, Oct 25th at 1:00 PM
