Calling all Storytellers! Have you experienced a paranormal event on Vinalhaven? We will be working with students this autumn to collect stories of haunted houses, UFO sightings, or all-around spooky happenings from our town's vast history. Please write in to [email protected] or PO Box 339 with your tale of terror. Authors who wish to remain anonymous are welcome to do so.

Come see us this Wednesday, July 17th, from 11-2 at WindHorse Arts! We will be selling some lovely items from our gift shop as well as a limited number of photograph prints of Vinalhaven's illustrious granite industry! The Vinalhaven Historical Society is a non-profit organization which relies solely on donations and fundraising. Our goal is to promote and preserve Vinalhaven History for future generations to come!

WindHorse Arts is dedicated to fostering a vibrant community of makers, artists and art lovers. We provide a space where creativity thrives, offering a diverse range of workshops, exhibitions, and events that celebrate the arts in all its forms. Our mission is to connect people with the transformative power of art and support local and emerging artists. WindHorse Arts creates colorful fused glass jewelry, accessories and housewares. WindHorse Arts retail store is located at 50 Main Street on unceded land of the Wabanaki now known as Vinalhaven, Maine.
