Just inside the front door of the Workshop Gallery in Vineyard Haven, nearly 50 ceramic egg flats, each canary-colored and identical to the next, are spread out across the floor.

Announcing our first show of the summer season!

Featuring new works in acrylic by Cheyanne Vandall.

Vandall's latest work is a bold, forward-leading collection of abstract acrylics. The first series incorporates natural wood grains with an Aboriginal palette of blacks, whites, and ochres to create a pre-symbolic language of shade and shape.

The second series fuses neutral-to cool greys punctuated with black streaks and negative spaces, evoking an interplay and movement with an abstract system.
