Root & Reach 🌿
A juried group exhibition exploring culture, heritage, memory, and intergenerational connection through the arts. Join us May 22–31 at The Garage Gallery in The Creative Well Arts Foundation for a week of exhibitions, collaborative programming, and community experiences designed for all ages.
Opening Reception
Friday, May 22 | 6–8 PM
Celebrate the opening of Root & Reach with exhibiting artists, community partners, and collaborative works spanning generations.
Root & Reach Intergenerational Program
A collaborative spring partnership between Westminster Canterbury, OMA, Organic Beginnings Montessori, and The Creative Well Arts Foundation. Abstract artworks created by students and senior residents will be on view in a silent auction benefiting the school and continued intergenerational programming.

Intergenerational Yoga Flow

Family Plein Air
Saturday, May 24 | 8–10:30 AM
For the first time ever — families are invited to join us for a short hike and watercolor landscape painting experience in First Landing State Park: The Narrows. Ages 8+ with accompanying adult.
Panel Discussion
Thursday, May 28 | 6:30 PM
Hear from professionals across the arts, education, healthcare, and community spaces as they explore how intergenerational connection strengthens empathy, healing, creativity, and culture.
Family Tree Workshop
Saturday, May 30 | 10–11 AM
Create a mixed media family tree together through storytelling, collage, and creative reflection. Ages 8+ with accompanying adult.
