The Comstock History Center Museum features a unique collection of artifacts, photographs, artwork and memorabilia that depict the colorful history of silver mining, the Virginia & Truckee Railroad and Comstock era businesses and lifestyles. The museum is owned and operated by the State of Nevada through the State Historic Preservation Office. It opened in November 2005 and is enjoyed by more than

4,600 visitors each year. Admission is FREE and donations are greatly appreciated to help fund the production costs of future museum exhibits.
