I painted this a few years back…sometimes the oblong ones get lost in the mix but I really love this piece. One thing that remains constant and true is the word of God. Zoom in to see the many verses hidden in this piece. The word of God is a joy to discover. It restores…renews…and refreshes. It’s like a drink of water on a hot day. Life is hard. Period. But God said that “in this world you will have trouble….but I have overcome it.” Go look and see in His word how through Him we can over come the troubles. Every thing you are struggling with has an answer in the word of God…I know that a bold thing to claim but it is so true. The word is alive and active…sharper than any sword!
This piece really only looks good printed larger so you can read it. (16x24 and up) I plan to print a few large ones for the store so DM if interested! 😌

These kids are having a blast! Just a simple little weekly art class! 🤩😌
In a world of so many distractions…it’s so refreshing to see these kids take an hour and just create. That’s what we were meant to do…”God created us in HIS image and likeness.”Genesis 1:27 Somewhere along the way we think it’s unimportant to sit down and let our minds feel free to design and produce and imagine and invent! He wired us for this! “I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions.” Proverbs 8:12
Sit down today and write..draw..imagine! It will feed the soul and ignite your spirit! 😁🎉

The cake…the painting. I only painted the top part of my cake and put the cake on a plate I would use today in the painting…I love green. In person the cake was really more the color of the painting…but the picture had faded. (23 years ago 🤷‍♀️)I’m now working on several others…can’t wait to see how they turn out! 🍰

Fall at the beach can be the best time! “Matthew 11:28-30 (MSG) “ARE YOU TIRED? WORN OUT? BURNED OUT ON RELIGION? COME TO ME. GET AWAY WITH ME AND YOU’LL RECOVER YOUR LIFE. I’LL SHOW YOU HOW TO TAKE A REAL REST. WALK WITH ME AND WORK WITH ME-WATCH HOW I DO IT. LEARN THE UNFORCED RHYTHMS OF GRACE. I WON’T LAY ANYTHING HEAVY OR ILL- FITTING ON YOU. KEEP COMPANY WITH ME AND YOU’LL LEARN TO LIVE FREELY AND LIGHTLY.” https://www.hopegsmith.com/shop/art/IA255

My wedding cake from 23 years ago! 👰🤵 Such a fun way to remember the details of your wedding day! Bring a picture of your wedding cake in (or DM it to me) and I can paint it and I will include the gold or silver bamboo frame with this project! 🍰 This was so fun to paint and now I can’t wait to hang it!
