Last year i had the pleasure of getting to paint this Handsome boy! Dodger was a sh*tzu who passed away November of 2023. He was always smiling and happy and when i met Hanna she commissioned a painting of him. I regret to say that i lost her beautiful memoir she wrote for him. This painting was the first painting i had done in a long time and his unforgettable smile was such a pleasure to capture 🧡

Sometimes you just gotta go out and practice! I told myself to start drawing at least one thing on my hikes. I haven’t messed around with oil pastels in a long time. All in all not bad! I’m proud of myself. We walked almost 4 miles and got to enjoy a fresh new Monday!!
