Last Friday, twenty-three 7th and 8th grade art club students had the wonderful opportunity to carve their own snow sculptures in Lake Geneva. They were using the same tools and methods as the professionals! Congratulations to the following art club students for receiving second place for their carving of the “Tiki Tourist”: Wrigley, Addison, Bryan and Grey. And a big congratulations to these students for their carving of the Lombardi Trophy: Tyler, Christopher, Trevor, Ta-Kai and Aidan. We are so grateful to be able to participate in this unique experience!

Wow! Check out this awesome collaborative art piece done by the fifth grade artists! Each student was given a small square that they needed to recreate on a larger piece of paper with paint. They also had to add a personalized detail somewhere in their piece. Great job artists!

Congratulations to second graders, Cortland and Olivia for placing in the Society’s Assets Art Contest - Ability Not Disability! Students learned about abilities and disabilities before making their own artwork showcasing the amazing abilities of individuals who also happen to have disabilities. Cortland placed second and Olivia was an Honorable Mention. Great job artists!!
