The Ware Shoals Museum will be open on Friday, May 22 from 6:00 - 8:00. We will also be open on Saturday, May 23 from 12:00 - 6:00. Please come see us at our new location at 201 McLane Ave.

The Ware Shoals Museum would like to thank the Ware Shoals Public works for cutting down the trees at the the end of the Town Hall building on McLane Ave. This project will make the end of the building past the museum look better for the upcoming reopening of the museum in our new location.

Work is continuing to make the new location of the Ware Shoals Museum better for our patrons. The wall is completely down now. This wall removal will turn two tiny rooms into one bigger room. We look forward to serving you again through our new and improved Ware Shoals Museum.

I dropped off an application packet to the Greenwood County Treasurer's Office a few minutes ago applying for Hospitality funds to assist the Ware Shoals History & Tourism Committee in purchasing a live streaming camera. This will be the first of a set of live stream cameras I wish for the History & Tourism Committee to purchase to promote tourism to Ware Shoals and to display the natural beauty of our amazing town. Please help me pray that our project is funded through this Hospitality funding opportunity.

The Ware Shoals History & Tourism Committee is excited to announce that the James Radford Band will perform a free concert on the Katherine Hall lawn on Sunday, November 2 at the Katherine Hall Birthday Celebration. A talented artist from Ware Shoals, Travis South will also be performing at the celebration. Help us celebrate our amazing facility as we recognize her past and bring on the rehabilitation project that is expected to begin in 2026.
