Here's another chance to celebrate Warner's 250th birthday! The dedication of a donated Serviceberry Tree at the Mt. Kearsarge Indian Museum will take place this Saturday, June 13th at 10AM. Did you know that Serviceberry or Shadbush (genus Amelanchier) got its common name because it is one of the earliest shrubs or trees to bloom? Native people used parts of the serviceberry plants for food, medicine, and tools. They also knew that the blooms often coincided with the annual running of shad. American colonial tradition also held that the blooms signified that the ground had thawed and funeral services and burials could occur. Come celebrate the natural and social history of Warner!

Well, it seems that the timing of the spring rain showers have it in for the Barn Sale. We have decided to cancel this Wednesday's Barn Sale Preview Party, due to the forecast for lousy weather.

The Barn Sale will be open this coming Saturday from 9AM-1PM during "Spring Into Warner!" After you have found your special treasure at the Barn Sale, be sure to check out all the other events happening in the village!

Updated information for the Barn Sale! This Saturday, from 9AM to noon, will be the Barn Clean-out Sale. Only items outside will be for sale. The Barn will open for the season on Saturday, May 16th at 9AM. Good golly! We can't wait to see you all!

UPDATE: The Barn Sale has postponed the outdoor sale scheduled for today. It will now be held next Saturday, May 9th from 9a-12p. We hope to see you there!
