This camouflage uniform is crafted from a durable, medium-weight cotton duck canvas, mirroring the design of the P-44 United States Marine Corps uniform. It features two bladder pockets on the chest area, one small chest pocket, and the pants have two cargo-size pockets on the legs, in addition to the distinctive 'monkey pocket' on the rear. Notably, this uniform is made from a Mitchell Paige pattern shelter half utilized by the United States Marine Corps during the late 1950s and early 1960s. It was specifically tailored for Cpl. Thomas Price, a member of the United States Marine Corps from 1961 to 1966, in Okinawa, Japan, used a shelter half that he was able to acquire. This is just one uniform from the collection belonging to Cpl. Price.
