Exciting News for the Heritage Museum

The Morgan County Genealogical & Historical Society has been awarded an $81,810 Capital Maintenance and Improvements Grant from the State of Tennessee, administered through the Tennessee State Museum.

This funding will allow us to continue restoring the Heritage Museum in downtown Wartburg, with improvements focused on replacing the front facade exterior door and windows.

Preserving the past while investing in the future. We're grateful for this opportunity to continue making the Heritage Museum a welcoming place where Morgan County's history comes to life.

Our history. Our heritage. Our community.
