Forge Ahead Forge Ahead is the artistic name for Artist Kevin McCrudden's work; creating original works using metal and wood carving. He makes his living as a mechanic.

Kevin McCrudden has worked and lived in the Conimicut section of Warwick, Rhode Island; most of his life. But, his passion is his art; Metalwork and Carving. A rare art form in today's world; Kevin has had a fascination and curiosity with blacksmiths of old; from a young age. That curiosity unleashed an artist & craftsman; that believes there is always something new to learn; something new to crea

te; while maintaining a heritage of old. An accomplished blacksmith, tinsmith, coppersmith, and wood carver; Kevin takes pride in each piece he creates. He will create and sell custom copper weather vanes, custom ironwork, and chain saw carvings. He has many pieces available for sale currently at his shop. Kevin's creations are not massed produced. They are one of a kind artistic pieces that take thought, talent, and creativity to come to life. It takes time, determination, patience, and dedication; to turn the idea into the actual art.
