With Dada Picnic, William Kentridge leans into the absurd, using sugarlift, aquatint, and drypoint to build a composition full of movement and surprise. The layered marks and textures celebrate experimentation while nodding to Dada’s enduring challenge to convention.

Bidding on more than just your wall space…

If you thought this auction was limited to art on paper and canvas, think again! This sculpture made from earthenware and paint is here to prove just that. “Flute Player”, originating from Nayarit, Mexico and dating back to 100 CE, brings music, movement, and history into three dimensions. A rare and poetic object that adds unexpected flare to this collection.

Bidding is OPEN NOW and will continue through January 17th at 6pm EST.

The details in Mark Dassoulas’s paintings are endless. The longer you look, the more you see. Please swipe for some close-ups of “Vitruvian Orange.” Despite the close range, these detailed photographs do not do the painting justice. With only two days left to view “Mark Dassoulas: Equilibrium,” please visit the gallery for one last glimpse of all of the intricate paintings in this exhibition.

With only a few days left to view “Mark Dassoulas: Equilibrium”, we wanted to highlight the painting “Beginnings #5”. Although most works in the exhibition feature smooth surfaces, this painting has fragments of pumice incorporated into its layers, resulting in a textured effect. Our photograph does not do the painting justice, so please visit the gallery to appreciate its fine details in person. “Beginnings #5”, along with the rest of the exhibition, is on view at the gallery through December 6th.

Gallery Hours: Wednesday - Saturday, 12 - 7 PM.

Ruth Asawa spent her six-decade-long career exploring the implications and limitations of materials and form through various media. One such example is the wire sculptures above. These sculptures, along with the rest of the works in “Ruth Asawa: A Retrospective”, provide a gateway into understanding Asawa’s interdisciplinary art practice and encourage viewers to look closer. “Ruth Asawa: A Retrospective” is on view at the MoMA through February 7th.

Mark Dassoulas’s meditative practice centers around creating order from the chaos surrounding us. He accomplishes his mission by painting layer upon layer of transparent acrylic paint that glows and gleams. Please visit the gallery to view “Mark Dassoulas: Equilibrium” and enjoy the tranquility.

Although Blanche Lazell was famous for her woodblock prints, did you know that she primarily considered herself a painter?

More than 50 of her paintings, prints, and other works on paper are on view at “Blanche Lazzell: Becoming an American Modernist” at the Provincetown Art Association and Museum in Massachusetts. The exhibition explores the artist’s lifelong pursuit of translating Modernism into an American art form and celebrates her achievements in championing abstraction in the United States.

“Blanche Lazzell: Becoming an American Modernist” is on view through January 4th, 2026.
