Stage is being set! Quilts are up for performance of “Julius Caesar” by the Texas Shakespeare Company on Friday, October 24 at 7:30pm. Quilts are provided by the Hope Quilters Guild. Come out and enjoy Shakespeare in the Park!

Dances of the Past Workshop
7pm—9pm
Dance experience is not required for this fun evening of dance and fellowship! Join the staff of Historic Washington for an exciting class that will leave you with unforgettable memories. Throughout history, dance has been not only an art form but also a way to socialize and make new friends. Come alone or with a partner and you will leave with new friends and new knowledge of dances such as the Virginia Reel, and many more. Refreshments will be served and fun will be had by all. Casual dress or period dress as you like. Register by calling the park at 870-983-2684.

Hooves Through History

Meet at the Sanders Farmstead Barnyard
Historic Washington State Park will offer a hoof care demonstration at the Sanders Barnyard. Attendees will witness and discuss the methods used by 19th century pioneers to keep their horses sound and in working condition.

With the Arkansas State Parks Field Trip Grant, educators can bring learning to life at one of our 52 Arkansas State Parks. This grant helps cover transportation so students can explore Arkansas’s history, culture, and natural beauty guided by expert Arkansas State Park interpreters.

Whether it’s history, art appreciation, or literature, our state parks provide unique, hands-on experiences your students will never forget.

Part time tour guide: Tour of Historic homes, interpretive programs and other duties assigned.

Part time park specialist- this position will learn all aspects of the state park, Admin, Bed & Breakfast, Building rentals, Visitor information center and other duties assigned.
