Water Mill Museum Landmark working water-powered Grist Mill replicating 18th century grinding methods. Featuring displ Re-Opening MAY 23, 2024!

This Museum was built in 1644, and still has much of the same structure intact. Restoration goes on continually with the highest historical standards in mind. Exhibits such as The Wizard Of Water Mill illuminate this hamlet's wonderful past, rich with history. Everyone will find something to love here, from Whaling, to Antiques, to Ice Harvesting, to the Water Mill War Memorial Wall. Events such as the annual Quilt Show and ongoing art exhibitions are happening all season long!

A few shots from the new exhibition now on view in the Gallery here at the Water Mill Museum. Open Sunday, today, 1-4pm. Local artists are showing their BEST in a variety of media! Open today, Sunday, 1 to 4pm. The rain is busy nourishing our NEW PLANTINGS! Here is a sneak peek into our newly designed landscape. Millstones take 'center stage', -- view from the street is open and welcoming -- brick patio and deck are restored. This project took so much support that YOU all provided, with your memberships, Quilt purchases, donations and financial gifts. Thank you, sincerely - more than we can say. So: Now's the time to πŸ§€πŸ₯¨πŸ·πŸΎπŸŒ·πŸƒ COME ENJOY this lovely space. Opening Reception: Saturday, May 30, 4-6pm. Art Show and Refreshments. Welcome. Kathryn Odell-Hamilton is curating this year's exhibition featuring the work of Water Mill Museum members. Included are oil, acrylic and watercolor paintings, pastels, photography, mixed media and sculpture. The majority of the work will be for sale.
I you are an artist, you are invited to submit your work and be in this show. All are welcome. The only requirement is to be a member of the Museum and submit the registration form. Here is a link that will help.
