Five years ago October 22 the effort was started to recognize this Wonderful little piece of land in Waterford Wisconsin! Congratulations to Judy Gambrel and the Old Kids who like to hang out at the Village of Waterford Cemetery! This is a huge accomplishment. I will let Judy explain in more detail. Let it be know, that this is one of only 22 Historical Cemeteries registered with the whole State of Wisconsin. Judy donated so much time, effort and money to make sure this was done right! She also donated the 2 beautiful detailed, very heavy gates that are the centerpiece of this marker. The massive rock was donated by Dennis Witte of Witte Supply Company just 2 miles west of Waterford. A great deal of work was provided by Bob Gariepy and others from the Cemetery Committee for grinding and making the rock perfect for the plaque which is required to be Registered with the State of Wisconsin. Check it out. So much history to learn about as Waterford was just being established.

I finally got my Gallery Sign up. This is on Hwy 164 at Wood Drive. Is it large enough to see at 55 MPH. It is on the Bucholtz Farm. Thank you Matt and Billy Buchlotz.

Would you just look at that handsome well-mannered Brute of a Champion representing all of us in the USA, in Wisconsin and in the now growing little spot on the map called Waterford Wisconsin!!!! ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU BRYCE! This is so wonderful and so well deserved. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• I knew you could win, Bryce, with all the talent, skill and knowledge you have gained with your Certified Coach who just happens to be your Dad. Not to mention the gene pool! ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
However, even with all these advantages, there is always, still, the chance of getting lost in the proverbial Peruvian Jungle with all the details that need to be handled without fail or flaw. The obstacles an athlete and his team must overcome, are more than most realize, including me. The chance of injury, a simple foul at the line, Illness, dietary issues, timing, not only with all the training but just the challenge and intensity of all the effort for the preparation and timing (Not to mention Expense) of going to an international event with the dramatic production and world exposure of . it is truly amazing that it all came together culminating in a World Championship! I am so proud just to know you Bryce! I want to thank you for all the hard work, sacrifice of normal living and dedication you and your family aka have put forth! Waterford is on the map because of you. I love Waterford! I have lived here all my life (so far, I ain't dead yet) and this is so meaningful to me. I hope all of people from the Waterford area will get behind and support you Bryce and this substantial effort.

Bryce and his family have made Waterford there home since well before Bryce was born. They live and work here. Congratulations, World Athletics U20 Championships 2024 in Lima, Peru, Bryce Ruland of Waterford WI! This is another fantastic accomplishment for you! We In Waterford, Wisconsin and the United States of America are so proud of you! Great image of you! Is that when you realized that you had just had the throw of your life?!!!!!!!!! to this point.

I have not been up early often lately when I am the sky is usually boring. so I try to get a bit to get creative. I found this not exciting enough to use my tripod and was limited to what I could do. A wider view was more boing. The polarizing lens helped.
