One of our many Red-tailed hawks comfortably recovering from rodenticide poisoning on this cold winter day. Sadly, this is a very common occurrence amongst birds of prey and other predators. Lethargy, seizures and internal bleeding are just some of the symptoms. There are just too many of us humans for us not to be conscious of the effects our choices have on others. Poison is irresponsible, unethical and ineffective. Entry exclusion, deterrents such as peppermint and cinnamon oil and humane traps work wonders at our feed centric facility. We live in the woods, act accordingly!🌎
