Cottage Hill Tractor Co. & Museum

Cottage Hill Tractor Co. & Museum The museum features John Deere tractors and implements from the 1920's & 30's with some items thru the two-cylinder era to 1960. Thank you Randy Jacobson

My passion for collecting old John Deere's began at an early age when my grandpa gave me his 1928 GP that he used on the farm. It was around 1984 when I really got started into collecting and have continued to this day. I have had lots of help from family, friends and fellow collectors thru the years to help put together this collection and to create a museum for all to see.

This is our hometown in Marshall Co. our ancestors came to this area in the 1880’s and settled just southwest of Waterville.

Located 15 miles southwest of Marysville, the town Waterville, Kansas, got its first post office on February 18, 1868. For a brief time, Waterville, the furthest point west on the railroad, became a cowtown.
