Calling all produce vendors, bakers, gardeners, & handmade makers! 🌽🍅🍓

The Miles B. Carpenter Museum is excited to host our summer Farmer’s Markets June 13, July 11, & August 8.

We are offering FREE setup for:
🥕 Produce & fruit stands
🍞 Homemade baked goods & canned goods
🧵 Handmade crafts & artisan vendors

Our June 13th market also falls during the 460 Yard Sale weekend, so we expect lots of traffic through town! Yard sale vendors are welcome to set up for a $10 fee payable to museum staff the day of the event. ( and on June 13th you are welcome to set up as early as 7:30am!)

Whether you’re selling fresh vegetables, homemade jams, baked treats, handcrafted items, or unique finds — we’d love to have you join us! Support local, shop small, and spend the morning with us.

What a PERFECT day for our April Open House! 🌸

We truly couldn’t have asked for better weather, and it made for such a wonderful time at the Museum. We loved seeing both familiar faces and welcoming some new ones through the doors!

Our pot decorating activity at the pavilion was a hit—so many creative touches! We can’t wait to watch all those flowers grow and bloom in the weeks ahead. 🌱💐

Thank you to everyone who came out and spent part of your day with us—we appreciate you more than you know! 💛

We are just a few days away from our April Open House - and we are so excited that we wet our plants!

Just a little plant humor, but we are excited to see everyone Saturday 10am - 4pm! Come tour the museum and for a $10 donation decorate a pot and plant some seeds to watch grow!

We found our Monkey Dog's family photo

These special carvings by Miles B. Carpenter are such an important part of the museum—and our famous Monkey Dog is proudly on display for visitors to see!

We know one of these pups lives with John Norris, and a few are still here with us… but we’re wondering—where are the rest of the Monkey Dogs family?

Do you have a Monkey Dog carving? Or maybe another piece by Miles B. Carpenter? We would LOVE to see it!

We had the BEST time at our March Open House!

It was such a joy to see so many smiling faces and share such a fun day with our community. Moments like these are what it’s all about!
