Have you been looking for something to do? Want to get more involved in your community? Or maybe you just want an excuse to hang out with a great group of ladies?

Come join us at the Miles B. Carpenter Folk Art Museum! ❤️

We’re looking for new members and volunteers who want to lend a hand, meet new people, help with events, and be part of something that means a lot to our community.

From helping with events and open houses to working on projects around the museum, there’s always something going on (and usually plenty of laughing along the way!).

It's not to often that a piece by Mr. Carpenter comes up for auction- and especially not in his hometown!

Congratulations to whoever won the adorable little bird and the signed Time Magazine. We'd be lying if we said we weren't just a little jealous!

If you are sad you missed out on this piece of local history - be sure to vist the Miles B. Carpenter Folk Art Museum on August 8th, we have plenty of pieces to view!

And with that, the 2026 season comes to an end. But what a week we had! These kids learned so much over the past few day...

And with that, the 2026 season comes to an end.

But what a week we had! These kids learned so much over the past few days, from paper mache to water colors, chalk pastel to creating things from cardboard. They were able to let their imaginations run wild, and make a few new friends along the way!

We couldn't have done this without our wonderful volunteers, board memebers, or help from the local community. We appreciate you all so very much!

Thank you for a great week and we can't wait to do it again next year!!

They have been working hard with Mr. Ethan on their cardboard creations and with Ms. Amy, on their paper mache projects!
