Deep South Historical Research DSHR is dedicated to the study and preservation of the South's unique history and prehistory. Focus of the research is typically within the state of Alabama.

The goal is to document, report, educate, and share these finds with the public.

I have not fallen off of the face of the earth only to become history myself! Lol. I have battled Covid twice, and I am recovering from some long-term issues. I will be back after the first of the year with an updated page and new website! Stay tuned!

Hey y'all! We are finally getting this page created appropriately. We have some exciting projects on the horizon, specifically one that is going to highlight the prehistoric Native American contribution to the history of the Wiregrass area. It will include exhibits and educational programs! More to come about that!
