The Jewett Art Gallery is the main exhibition space for the Wellesley College Art Department,
alongside our Sculpture Court, Hallway Galleries, and a variety of other exhibition spaces in the Jewett Arts Center and the newly renovated Pendleton West. In addition to major student shows like our annual Spring Thesis and Senior Exhibitions, we also exhibit the work of faculty members, award-winning alumnae, and a great variety of visiting artists. The Gallery is an important teaching resource for our Department, a showcase space in our historical Paul Rudolph building, and a versatile venue for dynamic and inventive contemporary art. All shows are free to visit, and there is free parking in the garage on campus. Campus is also within walking distance of the Wellesley Square stop on the Framingham/Worcester commuter rail line. For maps and directions, please see the page story, or contact the Gallery Director at [email protected]
