Friday night, Mela Coffee Roasting Co. launches a seven month Coaster Art Project. Installation opens during the December Wenatchee First Fridays ArtWalk. All proceeds go to funding community arts efforts and Artist Driven Projects.

A cautionary tale.

I have a sorry and regretful story to tell. It concerns the board of a nonprofit organization that I believe overstepped the boundaries of decency, honesty and fairness.

There is a very strong line up of exhibitions and installations for the Nov 1st Wenatchee First Fridays Arts Walk. Check out the details on this blog. There is one correction, we have inadventently incorrectly listed the current installation at the Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center. "Not Your Ordinary Doll' and "FOTO" are no longer up. The museum's other large installations are in place and they open, in the Gold Gallery, “Wenatchee Men and Women in the Military.”
