We are spotlighting a stunning corner of our current exhibition. Glass blowing is a delicate dance with fire, time, and gravity... and the results are pure magic.

Featured work includes:

- Egg #31 and Egg #32 by Mike Stevens: notice the intricate, fine-line crosshatching over the rich amber and deep blue stripes.

- Space Goblet by Neil Levitt: a masterclass in clean, geometric silhouettes and subtle translucency.

- Funkiform #2 by George Lieber: a bold, playful exploration of form and stacked color block styling.

- Nectarines by Steven DeBano: capturing the fluid warmth of molten glass.

OPEN CALL: “Fiber On the Edge” is now open for artist submissions!

Fiber on the Edge is an exhibition featuring artists that utilize fibers and fiber techniques in an original manner. Possibilities include combining alternative fibers with a variety of mixed media, exploration of display techniques beyond the wall, pushing the boundaries of traditional fiber techniques, and devising concepts that go beyond the decorative by challenging and informing the viewer. Personal statements must be included with all entries. Artwork must be well crafted, grounded in fiber techniques with fiber being well represented. Accepted pieces must be ready for installation upon delivery to the gallery. The juror has the right to reject any work that differs considerably from the entry images.

Open call runs through Sunday, June 28, 2026
Exhibit Dates: July 26 - September 2, 2026
Opening Reception: Sunday, July 26, 1 - 4 PM

✨ Glass Leacture with Alli Hoag: Sunday, June 14, 1:00 PM

Join us for a glass lecture with artist Alli Hoag. Alli works across mediums of glass, installation, video, and performance to investigate human desire to connect with the unknowable, and to reveal the simultaneous lightness and heaviness that is created when the imagined or invisible is labored into the physical realm. She completed her BFA degree in Glass at University of Hawaii at Manoa, graduated with a Master’s in fine art from New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University, and currently serves as Associate Professor of Glass and Glass Area Head at Bowling Green State University, in Bowling Green, OH.

Space is limited and registration is required for all events.

Security warning: This piece might cause involuntary smiling. 🤫🏆

Congratulations to Brianna Gluszak () for taking home the "BEST OF SHOW" award at our 6th Michigan Regional Glass Exhibition!

Her winning piece is brilliantly titled "Something About Someone Telling You to Smile". It manages to inject a healthy dose of curiosity, pure wonder, and genuine humor into the room. (And let's be real, a piece of art that tells you not to smile while making you smile anyway is a true artistic paradox).

On view through June 24 during the Michigan Regional Glass Exhibit.
