🕊️ Honoring the Legacy of
Beverly Erickson

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of a truly wonderful lady and a cornerstone of our community, Bev.
For those who have visited the Traverse County Museum, you know that Bev was more than just a volunteer—she was the heart of the operation. Her passion for preserving our local heritage was unmatched, and her deep knowledge of our history was a treasure that simply cannot be replaced.
Bev didn't just manage artifacts; she kept our stories alive. Whether she was guiding a tour, researching a family lineage, or ensuring the museum doors stayed open, she did it all with a dedication that inspired everyone around her.
We will miss her presence, her wisdom, and her kindness more than words can say.
Please join us in keeping Bev’s family and friends in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time. Rest in peace, Bev. Thank you for everything you gave to Traverse County. 🕯️

Hello everyone,

As the organizer of the Traverse County Museum fundraiser, I’m reaching out for your support to help preserve a treasured part of our community. We rely on generous donations to maintain the museum grounds and facilities so that future generations can enjoy and learn from our local history.

Upcoming projects we hope to fund include:
• Gutter replacement and painting of eaves
• Painting of the caboose
• Shingle replacement
• Upgrading lighting and electrical systems
• Foundation repairs
• Window repairs for the schoolhouse

Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a lasting impact and help keep the Traverse County Museum vibrant for years to come.

If you’re able, please consider donating or sharing this post with others who might be interested in supporting our efforts. Thank you so much for helping us preserve this important community resource!

And don’t forget—visit our display at the Traverse County Fair in the Agricultural Round Building from August 21–24, 2025, or stop by the museum Thursday through Sunday, 1–5 PM, through Labor Day.
