There are only a few days left to register for the 7th Annual Into Nature Plein Air Competition at WBCA! Over six weeks, artists of all skill levels are invited to get outside, get inspired, and paint the beauty of summer.

Registration closes May 30, so don’t miss your chance to paint your summer! 🌿🖌️

Plus, WBCA is excited to offer a full slate of Plein Air classes and activities this season, with opportunities for painters and writers alike to connect with nature and create outdoors.

The gallery is about to bloom!🌸

Join us for Week 2 of Themed Studio Weeks in the Ford Family Gallery: Fiber Flowers — “Watch ’Em Grow…” from June 8 to 12.

Spend the week creating flower and nature-inspired fiber art while contributing to a collaborative gallery installation on display June 13–20.

The week’s lineup includes:

🌷 Knitted Blossoms
🌿 Mindful Stitched Leaves
🌸 Hand-Sewn Blossoms
🪡 Quilted Flowers
🧶 Floral Granny Squares with 3D Flowers
💬 Lecture: “A Living for the Earnest: A Fortune for the Capable.”

🎨☀️ We’re looking for volunteers to help make Imagine Art summer camps a joyful, welcoming, and creative experience for our campers!

From mosaics and ceramics to fiber arts, nature projects, and mixed media, this summer is packed with creativity, and we’d love a few extra helping hands during our midday camp transitions.

Volunteer roles may include:
✨ Camper check-in/check-out
✨ Lunch supervision
✨ Helping instructors reset classrooms
✨ Guiding campers between spaces

Our themed studio weeks are almost here, and we would love for you to join in on the fun! 🖼️

Beginning the first week of June, our gallery will open as a studio space where anyone can stop by and contribute to a collaborative collage project. The completed artwork will be unveiled at Summer Community Day on June 6.

Join us Monday through Saturday, June 1–6, anytime between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM. No registration is required, just stop in and create with us!

Recently, we held our community reception for the annual "Vision & Verse" exhibition featuring high school visual arts and writing.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to the over 400 students, parents, educators, and family members who joined us to honor the creativity of these talented high schoolers.
