We are SO excited for this group show celebrating Flathead Lake! 🌊

Featuring artists living and painting in the Flathead Valley, this special show focuses on Flathead Lake from the unique perspective of each artist. The collection includes landscape, wildlife, figurative, and sculptural pieces and will be on view for the entire month of June!

Lindsay Jane Ternes has created an all-new body of work for her upcoming show, Muse. These pieces celebrate Glacier National Park with reverence and joy! The show will be on view in our Whitefish Gallery through June.

From the Artist: When I first stepped into Glacier National Park for a plein air event, my heart expanded in a way I still struggle to put into words. Over the past seven years I have returned to this extraordinary place--to study the curves and angles, to listen, to feel its rhythm. In the months between visits, Glacier stays with me and lingers in my thoughts in the best possible way. It is magical and magnetic, and my brush simply flows.

I am deeply honored to present this body of work that reimagines small plein air studies into larger paintings that capture the expansive feeling of standing before my favorite Glacier views.

My hope is that the awe and reverence I feel for this beloved muse resonates with you as deeply as it does with me.

We had so much fun at Whitefish Gallery Nights last Thursday that this is the only photo from the night! Maybe it just goes to show where our focus is: celebrating contemporary art, community, and dogs 😂

In all seriousness, we did have a lot of fun last week. Thank you to everyone who came to the gallery and spent your evening enjoying the Whitefish arts scene! We are grateful.

Same time next month? We'll be kicking off our summer show season with an artist reception for Lindsay Jane Ternes in conjunction with gallery nights!
