This is the Sakos Family writing to let our friends and customers know that our beloved and wildly talented John Sakos has gone home to Heaven. He left this earthly realm on 1/23/25, peacefully at home with his wife of 45 years, Toni Lee Sakos.

We invite you to share memories and stories of him here, and to join us in viewing and services on Tuesday and Wednesday (info in link).

John took great pleasure in all of his work and interactions with you. Thank you for the support.

Our business will continue under the wonderful direction of his wife Toni Sakos, and managed by their daughter Christine Sakos. Our apprentice Ken Kester has become a master wood worker and repair man, and he has been with us for 25 years. We look forward to continuing to delight you with our work,and we hope to see you soon.

A throwback photo of my Chevrolac before its paint job and of my old antique store that we closed a few years back. I just like this photo because it is a good memory for me. Our shop was the coolest and my car is even cooler now than it was then!

Partners in love and business, my wife Toni has been beside me through it all.

Here is the American Spirit carousel horse in the 80s, and Rosie the carousel horse last year. Some things change. Some things stay the same. True love wins.

I have been fortunate to make all these horses in my life. Thank you for looking! Please let me know what you think, as an old man it brightens my day to connect with you all!

Another of my hand carved wood carousel horses. This was carved in 1978. We just put it on the pole last weekend. Pretty cool.
