Mouth Stick Art by Jeanne Gordon Suddenly in the summer of '06 my life
and the fabric of our family was inextricably torn. Today, I paint with my mouth and a stick.

A bicycle ride with our oldest daughter resulted
in her death and me becoming a quadriplegic. Tragedy was certainly a horror for all,
requiring faith, family and community
to begin the return to my life. Recovery was aided by the cathartic process,
a gift really--PAINTING,
which I do with my mouth and a stick.

Our tradition on New Years is to bang pots and pans, we did this video last year. Mom always said "Keep up the traditions!".
