Gallery12 is delighted to welcome Victor Rose as a new Gallery12 member. Besides drawing and painting, Victor is also a music performer specializing in Latin jazz and flamenco guitar.

Victor’s visual art styles reflect the diversity of his life. His portfolio includes oil paintings on canvas and board, acrylic and spray enamel on wood relief, ink drawings created using only line, various watercolor techniques, altered computer printing techniques from photographs, photocopy transfers, and ink on prepared paper, including buried paper and collage.

Victor earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Cum Laude with Honors, from WSU in 1979, as well as a Master of Fine Arts degree.

Victor participates in regional competitions and invitational exhibits. He is represented in regional publications and art collections, including Father Flanagan’s Boys Town in Nebraska. He has organized numerous interdisciplinary and collaborative performances and exhibits at WSU, Newman University, and Century II. He was inducted into the Kansas Music Hall of Fame in 2015.
