🪦 Join us for “Root in Peace,” a community funeral honoring our departed houseplants, and celebrate new beginnings.
Bring your plant, say Farwell, and help turn endings into new beginnings.

Say “goodbye” to your deceased and give them a second shot at life – compost.

Select potted plants will stay on display in the Boardroom Gallery for the duration of the exhibit.

When you enter the plant funeral, the first thing you’ll do is get one last portrait take of you and your departed plant. Lamphouse Photo will be in the Boardroom Gallery to capture and print your image beautifully. You can write a eulogy and compare your dead plant story with others and take notes on what went wrong.

At the end of the funeral, each attendee with a dead plant may place their dead plant into a coffin-shaped compost vessel.

FREE and open to ALL.
Simply show up with your plant on June 5th, 2026, 5-8pm

Stained glass has been admitted for its beauty since its earliest appearance in Medieval times. 💫 Is it hard to learn? Stained glass is easy to do, but difficult to master.

This glass will provide basic knowledge that beginners need to develop their skills. We will use the copper foil technique popularized by Tiffany Company.
CityArts will provide all tools and materials for your first project.
