A little peek at the Vulture City Ghost Town doctor's office! Just one of 16 original buildings here at Vulture City that goes back to its original days starting in 1863. This particular building was built in the mid to late 1880s. The town became abandoned permanently in 1942.

Last Sunday, a western film crew shot scenes at our little town for a sequel to Double Crossed in El Paso. Our Old West reenactors joined in, and the director announced the new title: Double Crossed in Vulture City. Great to see westerns still going strong! 🎬🤠

Did you happen to catch the recent Expedition X episode that premiered January 7 on the Discovery Channel featured the history and paranormal investigation of Vulture City.
Damian Harris, a paranormal investigator and historian involved with the site since 2019, was asked to participate due to his extensive knowledge of its history. Appearing alongside Jack Osbourne and Heather Amaro, Harris discussed Vulture City’s past as the hosts conducted their investigation. Since the episode aired, Harris has seen an increase in tour and investigation requests and said the show brought valuable exposure to the site. The "Hanging Tree" at Vulture City Ghost Town . It's said 18 men were hung here, one such individual hanging was documented in the Prescott miner paper on June 25th 1880.

During our field trip tour with the Wickenburg 5th grade class today our town blacksmith did a blacksmith demonstration as well as a gold panning class to the kids, they were absolutely thrilled when they were able to see real gold shining in the bottom of the pan.
Their reaction in the video is priceless, they're excitement and enthusiasm makes us feel great and it's very rewarding sharing history and education with young people!
