In New York City on Saturday my family and I attended the American Society of Contemporary Artists' Annual Exhibition at the High Line Loft Gallery in Chelsea. Here I am with my two still lifes that were part of the show. My work was also reviewed in Gallery and Studio Magazine. Here is an excerpt: "While Bart's style is realistic...her heightened, near Fauvist, color sense, lends her pictures an almost metaphysical intensity."

Art classes for teens and adults at my studio are now on Mon. and Tues. afternoons from 12 to 4 and on Wed. evenings from 6 to 9. I also have private lessons for children to adults.

Hi, I've been busy with new classes and new students at my art studio in Wilkes-Barre. Also with the fall semester at Misericordia in their new art building. I am teaching a 3 credit Drawing Class. At my studio, I have children ages 8to12, teens, and adults painting and drawing like crazy!!!. I have young people working on portfolio prep for college and private students as well. There is space in all sections. Classes at my studio are M-Tu-W from 12 to 4 and 6 to 9 for adults and 4:30 to 5:30 for children. COME JOIN US!!!

Hi, I thought I would post one of the people portraits I did for a family not too long ago. It is a colored pencil drawing of a sweet little baby girl. She is so delicate that I chose to use the pencils and keep the colors light and airy. Hope you like it.

Hi and good evening., Today I took the day off from art to catch up on some necessary errands. Although, I did buy some very nice small frames. I am doing some "small works" in graphite, colored pencil and acrylic . Getting ready for a show at Something Special in Kingston in the next year (or 2). As soon as I figure out how to put them on my desktop, I will put them on the page.

Good Morning!

The new image is from a series I call Mother's Day Flowers. The works are small acrylic paintings of flowers that my children have sent me through the years.

Tuesday's adult art class will begin at 12 today. I have a new student, a high school student who will be working on a portfolio to enter college as an art major. I look forward to working with him.

Ok, I see it, but not the first one. I am an artist, teacher and MOM which upside down is WOW. I teach adults and children art in my studio weekly, at Misericordia University, and as an art specialist on cruise ships (which is the job of a lifetime!). I also draw and paint.
