☀️Happy Friday! Today our Brand Ambassador Spotlight is on Shana Rowe Jackson. Living in rural Maine, Shana’s work is inspired by her natural surroundings. Shana works primarily in realism, but she also enjoys illustration and surrealism from time to time. Shana aims to evoke nostalgia in her work, choosing landscapes, wildlife, and still life as subjects while using light and color to conjure a sense of a specific time, place, or memory.

Shana earned her Bachelor’s in Art with a Concentration in Painting from the University of Maine at Augusta, where she was awarded the Charles E. Gordon Art Award for her helpfulness in the classroom. One of Shana’s favorite activities is exploring new media and sharing her knowledge with other artists through her YouTube Channel. She has extensive experience with both wet and dry media, including acrylics, watercolors, colored pencils, and pastels.

Shana’s work has been featured in multiple exhibitions, publications, and community projects over the years, and she is always looking for new ways to make a positive impact on others through art.

🎃Sharing this sweet illustration from Sara Stedner “I’m so happy to share my Autumn piece using Holbein North America Autumn Irodori Gouache set!

I had so much fun working on this picture. My love for gouache has been reawakened and I can’t stop using it. I used gouache a lot in college for my fashion and illustration classes and have not really stuck with it since then. I dabbled here and there with it but never stuck to a whole piece using it.☺️🍂🍁
