The James Memorial Art Center is seeking artwork for our upcoming America250 exhibit:
"𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗜𝘀 𝗔𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮 (𝗧𝗼 𝗠𝗲)"

America means something different to everyone, and that's exactly what we want to see. Whether your inspiration comes from 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗵𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆, 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆, 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗼𝗺, 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗲𝘀, 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝘂𝗻𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱, 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗲𝘅𝗵𝗶𝗯𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲.

🚍✨ Today the James got a visit from the 7th graders at Frontier Elementary School District #3 in Wolf Point, MT!

The students explored Gallery I, featuring Deana Novak’s artwork, learned a little about the history of our 1911 building (yep… the James was Williston’s very first library 📚), and took a tour through all the little corners and creative spaces that make this place what it is.

We LOVE seeing students experience art up close and discover that old historic buildings can still be full of new ideas. Thanks for making the James part of your day, Frontier Elementary! 🎨🫶 Have the best summer!
