Coming soon to the Creative Light Gallery! Woven Together is a show featuring the works of husband and wife team Helen Mirkil and Brian Peterson, two of our studio artists. The Creative Light Gallery is one of the galleries inside theArtWorks, and is owned by Helen and Brian.

The show opens September 20th and runs till January 9th. We hope you'll come and see this celebration of these two wonderful artists!

Grandma Joy and I have been privileged to revisit some of our favorite U.S. National Parks during our summer tour. The first time we visited Utah’s Canyonlands National Park in 2019, we only explored the Needles District.

This time we ventured to the Island in the Sky entrance and the payoff was huge! The views were expansive and inspirational around every bend. Whether you are exploring a new region of a park or visiting during a different season, it’s a beautiful feeling to come home to a park and discover a whole new world was waiting for you.

Saturday, September 5th 2026 Lawrence Leaf is a well-known Garden Artist and public figure with a passionate community of 18.5K garden enthusiasts. Lawrence is excited to unveil the first-ever true red, white, and blue garden. Featuring plants and stones that will be red, white, or blue year-round. Lawrence is hosting an event to unveil the garden and celebrate America’s 250 years. The garden, currently in progress, is showcased in front of theArtWorks™ of Wilmington.
