Rooted in Memory: The Gullah Geechee Vision of Jonathan Green opens June 19 at CAM.
Featuring vibrant paintings by acclaimed artist Jonathan Green alongside traditional Gullah Geechee crafts, the exhibition explores heritage, storytelling, and cultural continuity through contemporary art and centuries-old traditions.
Experience works that honor memory, identity, family, and the enduring legacy of Gullah Geechee culture.
Opening alongside Fresh Air: Inflatable Sculptures and Andy Warhol: Silver Clouds, this dynamic summer season invites audiences to experience contemporary art, immersive installations, and cultural storytelling across CAM’s galleries.
