When the owners of Blue Moon Gift Shops decided it was time to build yet another layer to a multifaceted shopping venue, Eclipse was launched in November of 2013. A vision of one of a kind, eclectic pieces and work produced from local and regional artisans helped create an artisan boutique. From the front counter to the floors, Eclipse captures the element of surprise with made to order pieces fro

m their many talented artists. Collections include original paintings, custom furniture, sculpture, pottery, glass, jewelry, photography, and textiles including an exclusive line of American made luxury Alpaca bedding. Voted the Best Art Gallery 2014 by Encore Magazine readers and Best Art Gallery 2015 by Wilmington Magazine readers, the never ending array of artisans and goods keeps Eclipse a favorite in Wilmington.

Over the next week we would like to introduce you to the characters. First is Daniel, he is a quietly fractured artist trying to rebuild meaning after a divorce that left him questioning both his art and his worth. Beneath his calm exterior is a man desperate to prove that choosing creativity over stability was not the mistake everyone believed it to be.

Painting the ocean feels like stepping into a beautiful escape.

I love getting lost in the colors, the light, and the movement of these coastal moments. What looks like blue water from a distance is often filled with lavender, coral, gold, turquoise, and a hundred other colors waiting to be noticed.

These landscapes are my favorite happy place, and it feels like such a gift to spend time with them on canvas. Even more special is being able to share that feeling with others and hopefully offer a small moment of peace, wonder, and escape from the everyday.

🏆Award winning abstract expressionist artist will be debuting his first novel, "The Canvas We Share" inspired by is passion for art, story telling, and creative connection.

His work explores the tension between chaos and control, vulnerability and strength. 🎨

He will have limited edition prints of his book and NEW flower paintings! 💐

"When an unexpected invitation reunites four former art-school friends, what begins as a shared exhibition quickly becomes something far more intimate...and far more revealing.

As opening night approaches, each artist is forced to confront the life they’ve built, the dreams they’ve buried, and the truths they’ve long avoided.
