Thank you to the Wilson County Tourism Development Authority for capturing these great shots of our whirligigs during their conservation process! 🛠️✨

Duckie, Angle Star, and Geometry are the three whirligigs that recently underwent some much-needed repairs.

Geometry, in particular, required extensive mechanical work and brand-new reflectors. Finding the right parts was a true treasure hunt—it needed new bearings and races that originally belonged to an old automobile! Because those specific parts have long been discontinued, sourcing them was quite the challenge, but our team made it happen.

🎨 Fun preservation fact: The backs of Geometry’s new reflectors were clear-coated specifically to preserve the signatures on them!

We want to give a massive thank you to everyone who participated in the Reflector Project! Stay tuned—we will soon show you exactly where your personalized reflector has been placed! 👇
