Farewell and Gratitude from Pride Corner Art & Frame

Dear Beloved Community of Wilton Manors,

With a heavy heart, I must share the news that Pride Corner Art Gallery has reached its closure. This decision was not made lightly but was driven by financial circumstances beyond our control.

From the depths of my soul, I want to express my profound gratitude to each and every one of you who have been part of this incredible journey over the past three years. It has been my dream to cultivate a sanctuary for art and art enthusiasts alike, fostering a sense of belonging and unity through creativity. I am immensely proud of what we have accomplished together, and I firmly believe that we have indeed succeeded in nurturing a vibrant artistic community.

To my mentor and artistic partner in crime, Tedd Davis who was my biggest supporter and played an instrumental role in everything; mere words of thanks fall short. I deeply appreciate your support, friendship and love you. You were/ are an angel. Here’s to new art ventures together! ❤️

To all the beautiful & talented local artists that have believed in us and allowed us to represent them, I don’t have the words to express my gratitude. To Ken Stone and my friends at Wilton Art, thank you for having faith in our little gallery and allowing us to be a big part of such an important annual event & fundraiser to support public art & art programs. To the remarkable community of Wilton Manors, I extend my deepest appreciation for your unwavering love and support. Your warmth and generosity have been the pillars upon which this gallery has stood, and I am endlessly grateful for the friendships that have blossomed during our time together. Wilton Manors has truly become a second home to me, a place where my heart will forever remain intertwined with yours.

Though this chapter may be closing, the memories we have created together will endure as a testament to the beauty and power of art to unite us all. Thank you for sharing your hearts, your talents, and your spirit with me. It has been an honor and a privilege to serve this extraordinary community. This is not the end.
