Windsor Art Center is now accepting exhibit proposals for 2027!

Show your work in our 1,500-square-foot gallery, a renovated freight house at the heart of a growing downtown community. Be a part of enriching connected programming that includes artist talks, performances, and workshops that bring your art to life and connect you with new audiences.

Please submit your artwork using the Google Form on our website. Our Curatorial Advisory Committee will meet in October to review all submitted proposals.

Did you know Windsor Art Center is now offering guitar lessons? Starting next Tuesday, local musician Zak Trojano is teaching beginners and intermediate/advanced classes! Visit our website under the classes tab to learn more.

And remember! The Charles F. Bendzans Scholarship Fund gives students and artists from all backgrounds a chance to take Windsor Art Center classes at a discounted rate. If you need financial support and would like to apply for this scholarship, please email Michelle at [email protected]

This Thursday, as a part of our CT River & Roots Series, enjoy a performance by Dilemma Duo on Windsor Town Green at 6:30pm! Bring your blankets, chairs, family and friends–all are welcome! This event is free, but donations are always appreciated.

Corey Rieman and Cliff Robbins-Sennewald from Corey Rieman And The Dilemma Band bring the force in the energy of their full band show together for a fun and exciting duo experience. Between Corey‘s rock, folk, and Blues matched with the jazz fun and soul of Cliff, there’s a little bit of everything for everyone.

Windsor Art Center is proud to present "Art and Influence: A Max Coyer Retrospective," opening Saturday, September 19th from 5–7pm.

Max Coyer was a Windsor-born artist best known for painting in a style he described as “synthetic art,” an amalgamation of academic and modernist movements. Max passed away in 1988 at the age of 34. This retrospective focuses on the importance of his work in relation to art itself, and highlights how the creative process is a deep strata built over the history of art. Just as Max’s work extols the artists that went before him, this exhibit includes the work of those he in turn influenced, the Max Coyer Scholarship recipients.

Windsor Art Center would like to sincerely thank the Sachdev family for generously donating the use of the historic Plaza Building for our Art in Bloom fundraiser, and for coordinating all of the catering. We couldn't have imagined a more special venue to celebrate the arts, and to cap off Neill Sachdev's 10 years of dedication to Windsor Art Center's Board. We could not have done this without you!

Today is your last chance to see Windsor Art Center's 12th Annual Members' Exhibit, starting at 10am. At 4pm, we invite everyone to join us for a brief closing reception where we will announce the top three winners of our brand new People's Choice Award. All winners will receive a free 1 year extension of their membership.

After the announcements, all member-artists and artwork purchasers are encouraged to retrieve their artwork.

Can't make it? Stop by during the additional two retrieval days to pick up your work: Sunday, Aug 30 from 9–11am, or Tuesday, Sept 1 from 5–7pm.
