Yoga Life

"Why Yoga?" She Asked...

The other day, a friend asked me, “What is it about yoga that you love? Why yoga and not something else?”

And honestly, it caught me off guard—not because I didn’t know the answer, but because it's hard to explain how something has helped you come back to yourself.

Yoga didn’t just help me stretch or build strength. It helped me stay—in my body, in my life, in my truth.

And for so long, I didn’t know how to do that.

I was always bracing. Always on. Always trying to keep it together.

Coping by scrolling. Hustling. Overcommitting. Numbing.

Trying to keep up while feeling completely disconnected from me.

Maybe you know that feeling, too?

When I started planning the upcoming retreat in Mexico, I thought about the women I know—the ones who hold so much, who push through, who rarely get a break and wouldn’t know how to take one even if they did.

This retreat is for them.

This retreat is for you.

It’s not just about yoga classes or time away.

It’s about finally giving your body a chance to exhale.

It’s about learning tools that help you stay connected, even when life is overwhelming.

Because life will always be full—but you don’t have to feel scattered inside it.

That’s what the 8 limbs of yoga have taught me:

There’s a different way to live.

One where you don’t have to abandon yourself just to get through the day.

The ancient yogis didn’t practice yoga to escape their lives—they practiced to be more present within them. Even the householders—people like you and me with families, work, responsibilities—learned how to weave these practices into their every day.

That’s the heart of this retreat.

A space to come home to your body.

A space to remember your breath.

A space to practice staying—with yourself, with your needs, with your inner wisdom.

If your body is whispering for something more grounded, more gentle, more real—this is your invitation.

You don’t need to “be more spiritual” or have your life figured out.

You just need to be willing to show up exactly as you are.

We’ll move, breathe, rest, and reflect.

We’ll explore not just how to practice yoga, but how to live it.

Not perfectly. Just honestly. Just fully.

You’re not too far gone.

You’re not too late.

🥳🥳And through the end of June, you can save $300 when you say yes.😍😍

Not just a trip.

But to a turning point.

From my heart to yours,
