Circa 1962, George IV Announced the Start of a Weekly Bus Tour of "Music City, U.S.A." including Stars' Homes, plus trips through Studios, Booking Offices, Pubberies and Recording Companies. In The Beginning, the 3-Hour Trip started Each Saturday from the Ernest Tubb Record Shop and Tickets Cost: $4. George IV & his Friend, Award-Winning Songwriter John D. Loudermilk partnered in this endeavor. By June, 1965, John D. had moved-on to other projects and George IV Scheduled 8 Bus Tours each Saturday with $2 Tickets. Departing the Front Stairs of the Ryman Auditorium "Grand Ole Opry".

Happy CMA Fest 2026 aka "FAN FAIR" Y'all!!! George Hamilton IV and Bill Anderson conceptualized Fan Fair in 1969. Following their appearances at the "Intl. Festival of Country Music" @ Wembley Arena in London: "George IV" & "Whispering Bill" pitched the idea of a Fan-Focused Convention to the CMA Country Music Association. This led to the inaugural Fan Fair (now CMA Fest) in April 1972. [The idea for the event originated because the annual music industry "DJ Convention" was overcrowded with fans who just wanted to meet the Stars, prompting the creation of a dedicated event for the public.]
